Venography
Venography is a test procedure use to see the images of the veins in the leg. It is also called phlebography. Venography is the most accurate test for detecting deep vein thrombosis(the formation of a blood clot (thrombus) inside a blood vessel).
Venography is a technique for viewing the interior of a vein by injecting a solution visible on X-rays. Passage of the solution through the vein is recorded on a series of pictures. Venography is used to detect conditions such as deep-vein thrombosis.
